The local community in Liverpool 8 want the opportunity to own and develop Ducie Street, Liverpool 8.  We were not given fair opportunity to submit a proposal to Liverpool City Council or engaged with to explore options.  Instead developers were chosen using delegated powers of an officer. 

This area was granted renewal area status in 1995 so why was this street left to run into such decline one half had to be demolished? 

We have heard the whole street was gifted to the developer for £1.  We want to be given a fair chance to do this ourselves.   

'Juicy' Street or 'Ducie' Street? Depends on how you look at it....rent for profit or rent for future community investment.  

Let the community develop this street so we can create our own wealth for future community investment.
