Tyler Hilton started this petition to Livermore High School Administrators and

Yesterday at approximately 12:20 PM in between the 500 and 400 buildings, a young man named Coby Walkenhorst (behind a Spiderman costume) attempted to lift the spirits of onlookers as he performed several somersaults in a row, gave people the opportunity to take a picture with him, and for many of his peers, made history at LHS. But to many members of LHS Administration, this was seen as an incredibly dangerous display of violence, as well as a disruption to campus. There was no rule broken, no policy violated, nor an ill intent had. Regardless, they then took action to not only punish Spiderman with threats to take away all of his senior activities if he even slightly steps out of line, but also censor anyone who disagrees and sees the event for what it really was--a memorable lighthearted experience that highlights the enthusiastic nature we should try to have at LHS.

This petition is not just intended to free Spiderman but also to speak out against the blatant efforts by the people entrusted with our future to stifle our spirits. It's morale boosts and harmless spontaneity that keep high school students going, so I invite you to sign this if you have the student's best interests at heart.
