As a fan of the pop punk/emo genre of music, I’d die to go to the When We Were Young Festival in October, however, I do not plan on dying while attending. 

Live Nation is putting their consumers at risk by having this event only be one day long. The event being only one day long also puts pressure on the performers and crew who will be rushed to get their sets together, which would result in lower quality performances. 

I think the best way for them to understand how big of a safety concern this is, for the public that is interested in attending, we should boycott buying tickets until they make it a two to three day event. 

If people don’t attend, than Live Nation doesn’t make money, but if they extend their festival length they could make so much more money in return.

In light of the AstroWorld Tragedy, I think it would be a wise business decision for Live Nation to take our proposal into consideration even if we don’t get enough signatures. 

I understand that for some of us it’s easier for it to be one day because we have jobs, but I think safety and well-being is far more important than work. 

I hope others agree with me and choose to sign this petition so we can all feel comfortable in the environment while we see our favorite artists perform live.
