On March 2, Live Nation announced they had cancelled the 2016 edition of the Squamish Valley Music Festival.

According to sources from the Vancouver Sun, this was a “business decision”, despite the ongoing success of the festival in the last five years.

We are asking members of the community: fans, artists, corporate partners, local businesses and supporters of the festival to sign a petition to revert this decision, which seems to have been made hastily in the interest of the co-producers of the event, Live Nation and BRANDLIVE.

Please let Michael Rupino, CEO of Live Nation, know how important the Squamish Valley Music Festival is to the community and ask him to bring it back by signing the petition below.
