After ten years, Fallen Earth was shut down in 2019– expectedly so. Having launched in 2009, the game could’ve only remained so close mechanically or graphically to modern titles. However, with the new ownership of the title, Little Orbit decided to polish what many would say is more of a passion project at this point. As someone who spent many hours of their early teen years scouring the wasteland for copper, I would like to revisit this nostalgic gaming experience. Despite the clunkiness and poor graphics, the game really had a lot to offer in the way of character customization, and a real sense of freedom to do whatever the heck you want. 
Despite what seemed to be a promising new start for Fallen Earth, Little Orbit has been sharing very little information with their loyal players about the state of Fallen Earth. The goal of this petition isn’t necessarily to persuade the devs of Fallen Earth to reopen the game, but rather to give them an idea of how many people want to play it, either in the form of the reboot, or even the game in its last known state. 
At the very least, I believe that the devs should be honest with their players regardless of what that entails. If they have no intention of doing anything with Fallen Earth, so be it. Perhaps they could sell the title to someone else, or share the source code of the original game so that modders can update it on their own. 
I am sure that I speak for many when I say that regardless of what Little Orbit does with the title, Fallen Earth really had charm. I would like to revisit it in any capacity!
