I want to bring back Little Debbie's Double Decker Fudge Round

I am 34 years old and was an extremely broke college student at the turn of the century. Most of my meals away from my campus meal plan came from gas stations and the dollar menu at fast food restaurants. However, sometimes I did not even have the $1.07 to get a double cheeseburger, much less $2.16 for two gas station hot dogs. The golden item under a dollar that sustained me more times than I can count was the Double Decker Fudge Round made by Little Debbie, which was a hearty morsel for a mere fifty cents. For those of you who do not know who Little Debbie is, they are a snack cake producer that makes such products as Swiss Rolls, Nutty Bars, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and of course, the Fudge Rounds. Now if you don't know what Fudge Round is, it is basically a half cookie/half brownie sandwich with a delicious chocolate cream in the middle and swirls of chocolate on top. They are available in two different sizes right now. One is the smaller size that is only available in a multipack and the standard size which is available in multipacks as well as individual packages. However, in 2000 they were available in a double decker form, which is the same basic formula only with a third cookie in the middle and far more chocolate cream. I don't what the secret was behind it, but the double decker was exceptionally more moist and tasty than the standard Fudge Round. You don't have to take my word on it though if you live near a Little Debbie retailer. Go to their sales rack and pick up an Oatmeal Cream Pie and most places will also have a Double Decker Oatmeal Cream Pie nearby. This illustrates the same difference that the two fudge rounds have and you will be able to instantly taste the quality differential in the two products. The problem is, the Double Decker Fudge Round no longer exists for consumers.

I understand that it is no longer the year 2000. The Double Decker Oatmeal Creme Pie is now seventy-five cents instead of fifty. All of their products have come up over the past fifteen years, but in no way comparable with other items in the grocery store. I feel that if Little Debbie breaks out their old recipe, they could easily sell the Double Decker Fudge Round at the same price as the Double Decker Oatmeal Cream Pie. If the numbers aren't right at seventy-five cents, both products could be produced and sold for a dollar with no loss to the company as long as the standard sized items still existed for a lower cost. This petition is to request that Little Debbie return the Double Decker Fudge Round to their line up. In a world where our food is getting bigger and bigger, there is definitely a place on the market for this reasonably priced delicious treat.

Thank you for taking the time to read my petition and I would greatly appreciate your help in bringing this product back to America.
