What we haven't been told is that there has been "talks" to take over the decommissioned power plant in wallerawang by a company that wants to turn it into "waste management center" in simple terms... a RUBBISH DUMP SITE!!

This means unbearable fumes and pollution that can cause human , environmental and animal health issues.

This site was origanally decommissioned as it was polluting the area and local lakes beyond maximum guidelines. By recommissioning the plant we risk permanent destruction to wildlife, human health and our beloved Blue Mountains, Wolgan Valley, Bathhurst and Lithgow to just name a few.

Not only to the air quality, but the National Parks will suffer, Farmers will suffer as will the clean water catchment being Lake Lyell will no longer be clean enough to trust drinking from it.

THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT NEEDS IMMEDIATE ACTION... BY US... THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ENJOYED THESE BEAUTIFUL PLACES, LETS SAVE THEM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Ask yourself... If the Blue Mountains smell like a rubbish dump, would you still visit it?
