Please sign this petition to encourage LISD to discontinue partnership with Lifetouch, the company they have been using to take class photos. Lifetouch is owned by Shutterfly, which was acquired in 2019 by Apollo Global Management. Apollo is a private equity firm co-founded by Leon Black. Leon Black was forced to resign in 2021 after an investigation revealed that he paid around $160 million to convicted sexual predator and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Though Leon no longer has a direct role in operations of Shutterfly, he remains a major shareholder in Apollo Global Management. Lifetouch currently operates as a subsidiary of Shutterfly under the umbrella of Apollo Global Management. This affiliation should raise enough concern about the safety of our children. Let’s not turn our cheek at ANY possibility of our children’s privacy becoming compromised. This is just one small change that we can make happen together.
