It has recently been discovered that the use of RoundUp is the "approved and monitored application" of weed control for LISD property by the Ground Supervisor.  RoundUp is a product that contains KNOWN ingredients directly linked to cancer, neurological issues, respiratory issues and skin irritations.  Our children who attend these schools do not deserve to be exposed to products that can affect their bodies in an irreversible manner.  We, as parents, caretakers, and loved ones of said students, would like to propose an alternative method of weed control that is non-toxic.
