Dear petitioners, We are planning another rally in Washington D.C. on Monday, May 11th. If you are able, please do your best to attend this important event. In order to increase the pressure on the FDA to approve potentially life-saving treatments for ALS quickly, we are holding a second Washington Rally. May is National ALS Awareness Month and there will be several ALS organizations meeting in D.C. on this day. Whether or not the FDA has decided to accept GM604 as a candidate for the Accelerated Approval Program (AAP), we have to continually increase the pressure so that GM604 and other promising treatments are approved in time for the current generation of people with ALS (PALS). While this disease does not give them the luxury to wait for the standard methods of FDA approval, there are FDA programs in place that should be applied to promising new treatments. PALS have a right to make decisions for themselves and should be given a chance to save their own lives. For the latest information about our campaign and the rally, follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gm604forals Please register for the rally at the link below: http://www.meetup.com/ALS-Faster-Drug-Approval/?scroll=true Be sure to sign a White House petition. It requires an email verification after you sign so, read the instructions carefully: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/request-fda-grant-accelerated-approval-potentially-life-saving-treatments-als-now-starting-gm604 We're in this together, Anthony Carbajal, Bethany Wolfe, the Torrino Family, Nick Grillo (gm6nick@gmail.com), and Jehad Majed (jmajed@mac.com)
