The Remarried Empress is a remarkable and quite popular manhwa series by LINE WEBTOON, that was recently announced to soon be adapted into a live-action Korean drama series. We, the fans of the series, feel that a live-action adaptation would be a major injustice to the series, given its style and how it’s written, and that an anime adaptation would do the series better justice. And with the everything currently going on with the pandemic, it would probably be easier to produce it as an anime, especially considering the surge in anime’s popularity since the pandemic began. Not to mention LINE WEBTOON has a partnership with Crunchyroll, so they technically would have someone to animate it for them. We the fans of The Remarried Empress and all of LINE WEBTOON’S other series, ask that the two companies produce an anime adaptation of The Remarried Empress for all Manhwa and anime lovers to enjoy.
