Besides being confined to tiny transport cages, animals used for rides and in petting zoos are underfed and often dehydrated. They suffer in extreme heat in environments that are not natural to them, and are often forced to “perform” even when sick or injured. All of this causes stress that can be even more detrimental to their well-being.

These animals are also scared. When any animal is forced to do something against its nature, it can lash out in unexpected and sometimes dangerous ways. By allowing these events you are putting both the animals and the Balloon Rally guests at risk.

Please replace the currently scheduled animal events (pig racing, camel rides and the petting zoo) with other activities that aren’t harmful and don’t promote suffering.
