As humanity, I believe it is time to be making more humane and cruelty free decisions that can benefit to animals in need. When going to the shop, people naturally often steer towards the cheaper items on the shelves. This goes for anything, including eggs. Eggs that are bought cheap and without 'free range' on have come from a hellish place where chickens are stuffed into tiny cages. They can't move, and the conditions are appalling. Although chickens may not be viewed as important animals, they can still feel pain the way we do. The aim of this petition is to encourage local shops to stop selling eggs coming from battery farms, and to look in to and take notice of the farms and company's on which they are buying from. Your signature could be the cause of a stand against the unnecessary and barbaric conditions chickens have to live through to provide for us. Thank you.
