The NDIS was created to support Australians who live with life-long disabilities!
Minister Linda Reynolds thinks that she can erode the NDIS until the government are free from their responsibilities and don't have to bother with the inconvenient reality that PEOPLE WITH SIGNIFICANT LIFE-LONG DISABILITIES CAN NOT BE FIXED OR CURED AND WILL REQUIRE LIFE-LONG SUPPORT!
We are now heading for the Australian Administrative Tribunal (AAT) for the second time since the NDIS rolled out in QLD. The Minister and the NDIS seem hell-bent on doing everything they can to slash supports from the most vulnerable disabled people in our country. This is simply not good enough!
You signed this petition with the belief that government support for highly complex disabled people deserve to be respected enough to be provided with the care they need to be safe, and to live an ordinary life!
Minister Reynolds is determined to repeatedly break families and add further burden and stresses by now saying that the NDIS scheme is not a sustainable long-term scheme! Every family, who have a loved one with a disability, spends every minute of every day terrified of what will happen to their special person when they can no longer care for them or are no longer here.
The Australian taxpayers expect disabled people to be respected by the government and provided the support they need - this is your job, Minister, not to cut vital support and leave them more vulnerable!
SHAME ON YOU MINISTER REYNOLDS! Your resignation is expected immediately!
Please continue to share this petition with your friends and family and ask everyone you know to support our fight to make the NDIS what it was supposed to be about!
Thank you for your continued support,
Tam and Rob
