The NDIS was created to support vulnerable people who live with a disability, who cannot live a "normal" life due to their significant challenges!

Our son was born with multiple complex disabilities which means that he cannot do anything for himself.  He requires constant care and attention to be safe and specially trained staff to be able to support him to live an ordinary life.  

He will never find a girl and get married, he will never get a job, he will never live a single day without a tremendous amount of help with everything most people take for granted.  Nic needs someone to feed him, someone to prepare and cook his meals, someone to stick by his side while he walks to try and protect him from injuries from falls, and so much more.

Surely the NDIS was created to provide the support Nic needs.  It cannot be right that the most vulnerable people in our community are repeatedly bombarded with demands from the NDIS to provide evidence to support their care needs.  Evidence which has been provided over and over again, and ignored because it doesn't suit their current cost cutting program!

The NDIS must change so that the most disabled and the most vulnerable are taken care of and ensured this care will continue without constant demands for proof of just how much support they need!  

Nic will not be fixed or cured! Nic will not ever live a "normal" life!  The NDIS must change because Nic sure is never going to change and suddenly be cured!
