Required multicultural and anti-racism course by first year students at Baylor University

The Issue

Currently Baylor does not require any kind of in-person diversity training, white privilege, or oppression courses for new students.

Seeing that our nation’s current elementary through high school education has failed to teach us multicultural history and provide proper anti-racism training, it’s important that Baylor does its part to help students unlearn discriminatory behavior and actions and learn more about our country’s true rich history.

Please sign this petition so it can be brought to the attention of Baylor’s faculty that diversity and multicultural courses should not only be offered but required, and as early on in a student’s time as possible. It’s never been more clear that this type of course is vital for the success and humanity of future generations at Baylor.
