As of now, there is NO PLAN to plant new trees. WE all agree that the "OAKS Needed to be taken down"  As home owners of Marbella Lakes, we need to be vocal about replacing these trees with something more appropriate. Like the Shady Lady Black Olive (bares no olives) www.south-florida-plant-guide.com/black-olive-tree.html with roots that grow down, height about 30 feet, have large canopies, don't drop leaves in the winter, handle sun and salt air.

The sidewalks need to be shaded.  Homeowners need to be able to exercise, walk our dogs, protect ourselves from skin cancer. Curb appeal is a big factor in purchasing a home.  Landscaping enhances the beauty. Marbella won a lawsuit with GL Homes for $100,000 to address this issue and these funds need to be spent on exactly this.
