Two weeks ago we set up this petition to ask Lincolnshire County Council to reconsider a consultation on the closure of 15 Phase 3 Sure Start Children's Centres in Lincolnshire. Thanks to everybody that supported the campaign the council pulled their consultation and have agreed to fund the centres for the next two years. On Friday I presented the petition in person and spoke at the full Council Budget meeting and the council formally confirmed the funding. All your voices made this happen.
