Limit the vessel traffic in north and south western waters to single digits per hour.

The Issue

The plight of the pink dolphins has only gotten worse every year with the advent of the third runway at Chek Lap Kok, the Macau bridge, water pollution and boat traffic. Reducing boat traffic and boat speed will ensure greater safety from collisions, less noise pollution for them and will allow them to thrive. A proven example of this policy has been during covid times when vessel traffic was significantly reduced. According to Doris Woo a  project manager for cetacean conservation at WWF-Hong Kong, he said that during the halt of water traffic, a notable increase in feeding and socialising was found between dolphins. Please sign this petition to save the dolphins from extinction!
