Technology is still not on the board agenda this month, but public comment is.
After hearing parent concerns at the April, May, June and July meetings there is still no official movement from the school board or district to restrict technology in BPS 101. It is discouraging because the data shows how detrimental unchecked use of technology can be for children in schools.
We need your help to keep this issue at every board meeting. Bring a friend this week and share your thoughts. It can be a short statement. The most important thing is that parents and community members continue to show up to board meetings every month. As of now we only have one parent who plans to speak.
