I am a resident of Batavia and parent of a BPS student.
According to board policy, " Acceptable Use – Access to the District’s electronic networks must be: (a) for the purpose of education or research, and be consistent with the District’s educational objectives, or (b) for legitimate business use."
What steps is the board taking to ensure children aren't being exposed to inappropriate content and exceeding screen time limits for their age? Please collect user data from the schools to examine time spent on devices and the sites and apps they are using.
