Hey, I’m Akira, a year 7 student from Sydney, NSW, Australia. Truth is, I’m obsessed with gaming, but I’ll be honest: sometimes we need boundaries so we don't get totally lost in it. I’ve come to appreciate my mother’s traditional, hands-on approach, which is why I strongly advocate for limiting screen use in schools and for homework. It’s going to be a wild ride, but I’m hoping to make this transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

There is a glaring contradiction in our education system: HSC exams demand three hours of continuous hand-writing, yet our daily schoolwork is almost completely digital. How can students suddenly perform at that physical and mental level without proper preparation? We know finding a balance is tough, but senior educators need to lead the way—creating a system that empowers our generation instead of just applying pressure.
