Dear Supporters,

I hope you are doing well and staying safe. As some of you may have seen, Nestle has recently decided to sell its North American bottled water operations to a New York firm, One Rock Capital Partners. Let us make no mistake-this change of hands does not change our objective. Unfortunately, the new owners will take many of the same steps to secure their permit and ultimately continue the trend of making water a for-profit commodity. Sadly, Wall Street has begun trading futures in water, treating it like any other commodity.

We must continue our important work opposing corporate water withdrawals in an effort to reclaim water, a resource that should remain a human right entrusted to the people. Please continue to spread the word about this petition and this issue, as always, every signature counts!
