Dear Supporters, Michigan Rep Aaron Miller has introduced House bill 5638, which would allow farms and businesses to pump large amounts of Michigan's groundwater without an assessment by the MDEQ. This could set a dangerous precedent that would allow corporations and others to secretly withdraw large quantities of water that could threaten Michigan watersheds and the environment.
