I am deeply affected by the rampant deforestation that contributes to climate change, soil erosion, and biodiversity loss. Additionally, it is no secret that forests are biodiverse havens. National Geographic mentions that forests are home to over half of the world's terrestrial species. With deforestation, these species are pushed towards extinction, threatening global biodiversity.

It is evident that unchecked deforestation is proceeding at a catastrophic rate. Let's put a stop to it and save the habitats of numerous species, protecting our environment, and mitigating climate change.
