Scenes of appalling cruelty to animals have been filmed by the Irish Council Against Blood Sports at hare coursing venue, Limerick Racecourse. We witnessed hares being battered into the ground by muzzled greyhounds at the JP McManus-sponsored meeting. One hare could be heard crying out in pain before it was carried away and thrown into a box. Join us in asking Limerick Racecourse to stop hosting this disgusting activity which a majority of Irish people want outlawed and which is already illegal in the neighbouring jurisdictions of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Coursing is a cruel activity in which hares are snatched from the wild and forced to run for their lives in front of muzzled greyhounds.
Video footage filmed at Limerick Racecourse shows hares being hit and severely mauled into the ground. One hare can be clearly heard crying out in pain.
There is absolutely no excuse for this disgusting cruelty to animals.
Show compassion for Irish Hares and kick coursing out.
