We the undersigned residents of Moyross are calling on Limerick City and County Council to knock down the wall which separates the Moyross estate from Thomond Village and Caherdavin.

It is a disgrace this wall was put there in the first place, as no planning permission was allowed. We want Moyross opened up to the rest of the city. Not ghettoised and separated by a big wall.

While American president-elect Donald Trump wants to build walls to heighten division and tension, we want to knock ours down and foster inclusivity.

If Mr Trump wants to take our wall for his Mexican border, he can!
