Hello, Today a crime forum will be held at the Resource Center at 6:30. Adam Medrano, our city councilman and head of the LGBT Task Force - who has already taken steps to increase police presence and lighting due to the recent attacks (and I dare say you all helped to push this along!) - is leading this meeting. If you can, please attend this meeting today and you will be able to address your concerns directly with city officials and key business owners. They have been listening, they are giving us a forum, now let's tell them what we expect them to do. Increase illumination of streets and side streets on and near the strip, increase police presence, and retract the decision to delay increased police cameras.
