Thank you so much for showing your support and sharing your voice for a safer gayborhood. This petition will be used as a tool in discussions where change can actually happen. Please be sure to continue voicing your opinions with your friends and attend any events you see which have the goal of creating a safer environment for us in Oak Lawn. Now that the petition has 1000 signatures I am considering it finished as far as the push to get more although you can continue to try to get more signatures to keep the momentum going. It is a publicly viewable petition so you can always increase the numbers and reference it. I am going to send this petition to the CEO of Caven Enterprises, City Councilman, the Dallas Tavern Guild, the Cedar Springs Merchant Association, Ilume Management Services, Warwick International Hotels, Dallas Public Library, Kroger, The City of Dallas, The Chief of Police, the Dallas Voice, and the Mayor. Each entity will be asked for their feedback in how they can help make Oak Lawn a safer place. I will inform you of their response or lack of response after ample time has passed. Again, thank you so much for supporting increased public safety in Oak Lawn and I hope that with your help we will have made a difference before crime tarnishes our community.
