I have the privilege of seeing the iconic Hollywood sign from my apartment every single day. It's a breathtaking symbol of dreams, aspirations, and the vibrant culture of Los Angeles. However, as night falls, this emblem of wonder is lost to the darkness, its presence dimmed when it should DAZZLE!

Lighting up the Hollywood sign would not only enhance its visibility but would also reignite its symbolic presence as a shining beacon for locals and tourists alike. For decades, the Hollywood sign has been a representation of the film and entertainment industry, a marker that captivates millions across the globe. Other global landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House are beautifully illuminated, drawing visitors even in the dark hours. Why should the Hollywood sign remain an exception? Last nights light projection was proof that we could do this safely without putting the environment at risk.

Let’s come together to light up our landmark, celebrating the city's culture and history, and providing a radiant symbol of hope and dreams for all who gaze upon it. Sign this petition to illuminate the Hollywood sign and shine a light on our city’s rich heritage.
