52 Signatures in 1 Week — and a Stronger Case for Lighting

Thanks to your support, the petition to light up the Hackham West courts has reached 52 signatures in just one week!

On the same night the petition went live, seven fruit trees were stolen from the community garden right next to the court. Total coincidence—but it highlights exactly why better lighting matters.

More lighting means more visibility, more safety, and less incentive for theft or vandalism. It’s not just about letting people play after work—it’s about protecting a space our whole community uses and cares about.

I’ll be bringing a letter and QR code poster to the Community Centre this week to help spread the word. In the meantime, if you can share the petition with even one more person, it really helps.

Let’s keep this momentum going.

Thanks again,

Ken
