Eddy has become a familiar and beloved sight in our Jurupa Valley community, but once the sun goes down, he is left almost completely in the dark.

This petition asks the City of Jurupa Valley and appropriate community partners to explore installing safe, low-impact lighting that would illuminate Eddy at night while respecting nearby residents, wildlife, and the surrounding hillside.

Lighting Eddy could make this local landmark visible after sunset and create something special for our community to enjoy and take pride in. Thoughtfully designed lighting—such as focused, shielded, energy-efficient fixtures—could highlight Eddy without unnecessarily lighting the entire hillside or sky.

Please sign this petition if you would like the City to explore a safe and responsible way to light up Eddy at night.
