Lift the Unjust Ban Against Xl Bully Breeds

Lift the Unjust Ban Against Xl Bully Breeds
The Issue
As a devoted dog owner, I am deeply distressed by the current ban against XL Bully breeds. This unjust law has left countless innocent dogs suffering at the hands of government regulation. These dogs are not inherently dangerous or aggressive, as they are often portrayed to be. In fact, according to the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS), American Bullies have a temperament passing rate of 86.7%, which is higher than that of Beagles and Golden Retrievers.
This breed-specific legislation does not take into account a dog's behavior but instead unfairly targets specific breeds based on misconceptions and fear. It is important to understand that aggression in dogs is not determined solely by their breed but also by factors such as upbringing, training, socialization, and treatment.
The ban on XL Bullies needs to be lifted because it perpetuates stereotypes about certain dog breeds and punishes responsible pet owners like myself who love our pets dearly. Instead of banning these breeds outright, we should focus on promoting responsible pet ownership which includes proper training and care for all dogs regardless of their breed.
Also the government need to look into licensing the breed and its owners to have correct training!
also by introducing this ban it’s left many owners vulnerable with long regards to there housing associations with a bully type dog! The poor Xl bully’s being abonded set fire too and it’s all down to the government and the ban let’s lift this ban and save our dogs!
Please join me in calling for an end to this unfair ban against XL Bullies - because every dog deserves a chance at life without discrimination or fear from those who don't understand them. Sign this petition today!
