We are asking to unblock a few music platforms on students’ school-issued laptops. We understand that music is a distraction to some students, in which case, the privilege may be lost, but most students work better when listening to something. Music is a tool that students enjoy, but it also helps them focus. An example is a study by Stanford University which states listening to music helps students focus and shows improved memory formation. Please consider this study and unblock music platforms sometime in the near future.
