The Issue

"I wanna be an artist when I grow up."

Whether that dream for me started with a crayon in hand at age 5, or a tattoo machine at age 25 - there is no better place for me to share my love for creativity than right here in my hometown of West Milton - the place that raised me, inspired me, and taught me to become the artist I am today.

Let's move forward together in bringing art, opportunity, and creativity ~home~

I, Amelia Carville, am asking the residents of West Milton and neighboring communities to support lifting the city's ban on tattoo businesses. This ordinance is outdated, unfairly restrictive, and stifles the potential for local artists and entrepreneurs who are eager to contribute positively to our community.

Tattoo businesses are not only a creative outlet but an opportunity for economic growth. Successful tattoo studios across the nation have shown that they can operate safely, professionally, and sanitary. Tattoo Studios adhere to strict health and safety protocols that ensure both artist and client safety.

~The fear of what tattoo businesses represent is rooted in old stereotypes, which are at odds with the vibrant, inclusive community that West Milton strives to embody.

Sign this petition to help lift the ban and bring art and opportunity back to West Milton.
