Because of COVID-19, Lifetime Fitness closed it's doors to members on March 16th, 2020 to protect the health and safety of its members and staff, which we applaud and support! During this announcement, it was stated that staff would continue to be supported and paid - many of which rely solely on this income due to non-competes. During this closure, it was also announced all members would not pay membership dues.

On March 26, 2020, CEO Bahram Akradi announced that 90% of staff would be furloughed until further notice, effectively eliminating income for 90% of employees for an indefinite amount of time.

Our mission is to ask Lifetime Fitness and it's CEO for an option to allow members to continue their monthly dues. In addition, some opportunity to pre-pay for accessory services such as spa, cafe, private training, membership status, etc, to keep the staff and trainers supported. These people change lives and support members with world-class service. As patrons of Lifetime, it is also on us to support our people.
