Newark, Ohio. Police received a call on a horrific act of animal cruelty. Just before 2:00AM they received a 911 call from a woman that found her little Shi Tzu mix, Odis dismembered.

She found his tongue first, then various parts of his body cut up and strewn throughout the home. She saw her son's 19 year old friend Harley Paynter that was sleeping over, with blood all over his face. Poor little Odis had been gutted.They later found one of Little Odis' eye, his teeth...

The grusome attack has even left the police shaken.

We ask for your signature on this petition to see the Court stop this man before he strikes again on another animal or a human. Empirical data has proven the link of animal abuse to human violence. We need to stop this NOW.

We, collectively feel that stronger animal abuse laws need to be in place. Animals are defenseless and we need to be their voice.

We ask that Harley Paynter be held accountable for this horrific crime and the highest punishment available under law with no plea deal.

We also ask for a registry of animal abusers be registered with the state and Harley Paynter be added to this registry.

This was a heartless act by a man that brutally killed and dismembered a family pet. Odis is gone forever.
