Dear Mr. Richard Peters:

This letter is being written on behalf of Liberty Center students, parents of students, colleagues and friends of Emily Wesley, asking for reconsideration of your request of her resignation of her teaching assignment at Liberty Center Local Schools. 

Mrs. Wesley has taught K-4 Music and 5-6th grade Technology at Liberty Center since 2013 with a flawless record.  She has been the Liberty Center assistant band director since 2010.  Mrs. Wesley has immensely contributed to the band department in her role as assistant director. She, along with Mr. Riley, have successfully led the members in not only their public performances but also behind the scenes with writing drill and music selection.  Mrs. Wesley has directed many wonderful musicals and plays in her time at Liberty Center.  The community has been proud of her accomplishments and successes with our students.  She is an irreplaceable asset to Liberty Center Local Schools. Her passion for teaching and helping to better our students has never been questioned! 

On December 10th 2018, an altercation took place between Mrs. Wesley and her husband, in their home.  This altercation in no way reflects Mrs. Wesley’s ability to continue to serve the students of Liberty Center.  

We are asking you to allow her to continue on with her teaching contract as she is a great benefit to our students and school!
