These monkeys did not choose a life of relentless testing and torture at the research facility in South Carolina. Trapped in confines unnatural to their habitats, they're subjected to harmful practices in the name of 'research'. These intelligent creatures deserve to live the remainder of their lives in sanctuaries -- enjoying freedom, peace, and care that they've been cruelly denied thus far. While scientific research is indeed important, it's equally critical to acknowledge, respect, and protect the rights of these animals. Other, more humane methods of research exist and can be employed without harm to sentient beings. According to the Animal Welfare Institute, less than half of the 110,000 monkeys in U.S. labs are used in procedures that cause suffering or distress. This means that majority of animals, like the South Carolina monkeys, endure immense suffering unnecessarily. It's time for this to change. Help us put an end to this unethical treatment.
