According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed each year due to domestic violence. This statistic is not just a number; it represents countless lives filled with pain and fear. Leo could easily become part of this statistic if we do nothing.
