Liberate Factory Farm Animals Involved in Road Accidents

Liberate Factory Farm Animals Involved in Road Accidents
The Issue
One fateful day, I was driving along a highway when I encountered a dreadful scene that engraved itself in my heart forever. Animal remains were strewn across the road, the gut-wrenching smell infiltrating the air. But equally heart-rending were the pairs of gentle, innocent eyes belonging to pigs who - in that traumatic moment - had just tasted their first sense of liberation. For the first time, they had felt the sun's warmth and touched the soft blades of grass. Their experience of freedom and space was short-lived and ended on the grisly note of their impending slaughter. This shouldn’t be their end. They deserve a happy ending.
The trauma of seeing these beings struggle for a grasp freedom left a deep impression, inspiring this petition. Free factory farm animals who, having already endured the agony of a road accident, deserve a chance at a better life. While each year the number of road-transported livestock is massive, estimates suggest that in the UK alone, over 3,000 animals are involved in transportation accidents annually [Animal Aid UK]. Every one of these survivors should have the right to live out their days in an animal sanctuary, shielded from further harm.
It is therefore high time we call on national and local governments everywhere, urging concrete action to secure this right. Life on a sanctuary can provide these creatures with the safety, care, and freedom they truly deserve. Please sign this petition to support the liberation of factory farm animals post-accidents. Your signature could change an animal's life forever.
