I am a Christian South African mother and I am asking for your support in restrictions being put on LGBTQ content in animated movies and tv shows or, for a LGBTQ symbol to show parents that a movie or TV show contains same sex related content. While I empathize with the LGBTQ community and their battle to have equal rights and recognition, I cannot agree with exposing young children to the community. I also understand that the PRIDE community has a big movement in the USA and on social media platforms, but the rest of the world is not as cosher with the exposure as others may be. I am honestly disappointed that after watching seasons of TV shows with my little ones I've had to stop because of the same sex interactions these TV shows portrayed, which I was not aware of. I'm talking about shows like Barbie and the magic of the Pegasus, The Dragon Prince, Jurassic World Camp cretaceous and Young Justice.

It's understandable that we cannot control what is put in TV shows, all I'm asking is for a warning. My 8 year old loves dinosaurs and super heroes but does not like the male superheroes kissing each other. My 4 year old loves Barbie and doesn't like that her friend, Daisy, likes a girl. All I'm asking is that you sign and share this petition in agreement that we don't all live in the Pro- LGBTQ Community , we live in different countries that have different beliefs, morals and ethical issues. 

We request that the LGBTQ restriction be shown alongside the age restriction section, on all streaming platforms, on shows and movies so we know exactly what we are exposing our children to. If you are a parent of a young child under 10 I'm asking you to sign this. If you are a parent of a teenager I'm asking you to think about the little kids in your community or your own child when they were younger and what they were exposed to compared to what younger children today are exposed to. If we don't change this, it will only get worse and eventually if you are someone who does not like this content in your kids shows, in 2-5years... There will be nothing decent left to watch.
