There is widespread display problem in LB series LED TVs sold by LG Electronics.

In most of the cases, after 2+ years of usage, some of LED reflectors will start fall off in these TVs. Due to this, viewers will notice white spots on the screen. Without doing proper testing in Indian climatic conditions, LG is selling poor quality products in India. There is an ideal recall practice followed by big brands, if there is a defect in any of their manufactured products. In this case, LG Electronics keeps pretending that they are not aware of this defect and forcing customers to raise a complaint. Upon receiving the complaint, they will assign the issue to a Service Engineer who will start forcing the customers to buy complete LED Panel(~35% of TV cost) or LEDs(~15% of TV cost); in addition to this there is a service charge of ₹ 650(GST extra). When this issue can be fixed by just using an adhesive agent, why is LG forcing customers to buy spares without any necessity.

LG Electronics should consider recalling LB series TVs or at least provide a solution to the customers at free of cost as this is common problem .
