Petition for LG G4 Bootloop and Screen Problems Recall/ Replacement
The Issue
DEAR LG,
Owners of LG G4 had bootloop issues, and screen-burn issues for their displays.
We all know that from the 1st statement of LG, they already acknowledge that there is infact a bootloop problem with specific batch. But to confirm this, bootlooping issue still exists for serial numbers 510-602.
Bootlooping is the main issue LG G4 is facing right now, consumers have now fear of LG products especially the support we are getting from LG itself is quite unacceptable.
This is especially damaging because the issue can happen suddenly and, because the phone will not boot up completely again, owners lose all the data saved on their phone when this occurs and Completely a trash when the owner cannot afford to get it repaired.
All Models are affected!!! ( From H810, H811, H815, H818 etc), No one is safe from Bootloop.
Many Groups from XDA, Reddit, Youtube, Facebook ( Intl and Philippines Group) are widely affected.
Notes: What trick is LG Philippines doing? giving a refurbished board to the consumer affected with the bootloop problem? Selling 50% of the refurbished motherboard to the non-warrantied units?
Since warrantied or non warrantied, international or local versions came from one factory "LG", since there are lots of complaints of the Bootlooping which is problem is in the mainboard( w/c costs hardly same as a new phone). It is unfair for the consumers not to get a mass recall from the company.
WE URGE LG to Have a Mass Recall for the Consumers affected with Bootlooping with free replacement of the Mainboards whether warrantied or non-warrantied/international or local versions!!!
Take note: V10 is facing now the same issues like the G4, G5 is not selling well.
Don't force the G4 consumers to Boycott LG for Life. We have the power to pull the support out of LG.
Like your main line " Life is good? or Life for consumers to suffer?"
This is not a midrage or cheapo phone, this G4 is your top of the line model, so give the consumer some importance.
