3900 Boston Road is the location of Willow Oak Park. There are all kinds of wildlife that would would be harmed and/or driven away from this area if the project is able to be passed.

There are families that use this park every day for recreational purposes. I myself go there to just relax, get some peace and quiet, and feel close to nature. Our community and this neighborhood are unique in the fact that we can have a park and such a great sample of nature right in our own back yard. Many people including myself do not want to see this park go away only to be replaced by 25 town homes and 2 single family sized houses. There is already enough residential property in the are to where we are reaching the point of being over crowded. There are plenty of other properties in our town that could be used for such a project. There are rundown and abandoned buildings that are eyesores that could be torn down and have the property used for residential development. It isn't fair to people who have lived in this area for 20+ years to lose something we have had here and enjoyed the whole time. This project would also bring terrible traffic problems to our neighborhood. more stop signs will have to be put up to help with the flow of traffic with people entering and exiting this town home property. Remember, the happiness of the public and the fairness to nature and wildlife far outweigh need for residential development.

If we are to win and save this park, we get to keep our recreation and keep nature involved in our lives and save all types of wildlife. If we lose, we get a huge construction project that will be nothing but a bother during and after construction with horrible traffic complications and only memories of what used to be there and the good times that were had.
