This petition is being created to raise awareness and seek help to have my childhood bestfriends death reviewed by new detectives.

Kyrstin Star Blackburn age 20 was found deceased in a wooded area in the County of Lexington South Carolina on May 28th 2018 after been reported missing the week prior. Unfortunately we came to find out that she had been deceased the whole time while friends, family and members of the community were out searching and spreading the news of her disappearance. 

There are multiple facts that her loved ones strongly believe have been overlooked and pushed aside due to the negligence of the Lexington County Sheriffs Department. It is now two years later and no justice has been served, Nobody has been held responsible for her death. Two years of tips, and information overlooked and filed away when the evidence clearly shows she did not just die, she did not just end up from point A to point B alone and end up deceased in the woods with no shoes on and none of her belongings she left home with. 

There has been multiple people who are known to be involved in some way set free and looked over when the evidence and events leading to her death clearly show they had involvement, But they were never held, never charged, and never pressured hard enough for answers. Instead they were sent on their ways to commit multiple crimes that were good enough to get the Sheriff Departments attention when the death of a young, beautiful and bright woman wasn’t enough. 

The details of Kyrstin Star Blackburns death should be enough alone to catch the eye of someone with a heart or even a conscious and make them want to dig deeper for answers. I feel as if the detectives that have been involved in her case are tainted and possibly corrupt and she and her family deserve answers. Two years is Too long, No Justice is unacceptable, Kyrstins life matters and we won’t rest until someone is held accountable for her death.
