Most Lewisville ISD school students would agree that Canvas is harder to use and understand than things previously used, like Google Classroom.  It is not just the students that have trouble with Canvas, it is the teachers too.  Some teachers have issues putting assignments onto Canvas or even using it in general.  

The main purpose of school is to prepare students for the future, however, Canvas is something that is taking away from that.  Students not being able to log into Canvas to look at assignments or the calendar affects their grades.  Getting bad grades due to Canvas can be the reason kids pass a grade or get held back.

Google Classroom, which was used previously worked better for students and teachers.  If we switched back over to Google Classroom many of the issues presented with Canvas wouldn’t be here.

Switching to another resource from Canvas could change kids’ grades for the better.  If we continue with Canvas, getting further in life will be much harder.  The thing we use to keep track of our school assignments and tests could determine whether we succeed in life or we don’t.  

I care about my education very much, and I think changing from Canvas to something else would help me and many other students succeed.  I also think it would be easier for teachers too.
