Levi's Stadium: Let New Parents Participate in the Super Bowl!

My husband grew up during the Montana, Rice, Young era and bleeds red and gold. One of my daughter’s first words was “touchdown” since “Kaepernick” proved a bit too tricky. My son’s nursery is decorated with all 5 Superbowl Championship Pennants. We are faithful Niners fans, and were so happy to hear that their home stadium was chosen for this year’s Super Bowl.
During this year’s Super Bowl, all eyes will be on Levi’s Stadium as fans from around the country are welcomed in to celebrate the big event -- unless you are a nursing and pumping mothers that is.
Even though approximately half of all football fans are women, and even though families like mine of all shapes and sizes love attending games together, the NFL and the owners of stadiums like Levi’s have made it incredibly difficult to attend the game as a new mom.
Sign my petition asking Levi’s Stadium to live up to their status as the face of this year’s Super Bowl, and commit to creating designated nursing rooms for families, and to accommodate mothers who need to bring in breast pumps and coolers.
Right now, the home of the Forty-Niners has no private space where parents can go to nurse or pump while watching the game. Moms are forced to resort to the bathroom if they need to express milk in private. Have you ever seen how a breast pump works? Juggling it in a tight bathroom stall isn’t fun or sanitary.
No baby should have to eat their lunch in a bathroom stall, and mothers shouldn’t be forced to stay home from the biggest game of the year. This is the stadium’s chance to do better for football fans, and bring their facility up to a higher standard.
Make Levi’s Stadium family-friendly in time for the SuperBowl. Sign to ask the stadium to allow in breast pumps and set up nursing rooms for families.
