LETS HALT KNIFE CRIME NOW

LETS HALT KNIFE CRIME NOW
The Issue
After losing 12-year-old Leo Ross from Birmingham on the 28th January to knife crime. I’ve seen and heard about the festering issue of knife crime in this country. Let’s ALL make a stand now for all the Leo's who have lost their lives, and all the other potential victims if the government continues to do nothing. Knife crime is currently rife and destroying families.
The heart-wrenching incidence isn't isolated; it's sadly a tale too many families share. In the UK alone, knife crime has increased by 25% over the past five years. This startling fact is one drawn from the Office for National Statistics. It's not just numbers; these are lives, potential and dreams cut short – our children, our future.
Let's convince our government to do more against knife crime. Urge them to rethink policing strategies, to take proven prevention measures like early intervention in schools, and invest in our youth. They must aid local communities in building support systems that deter young people from taking part in knife crime.
The value of each life is incalculable. No more families should suffer like Leo’s family have. No more potential should be lost. Join in this call to stem the rising tide of knife crime in our communities.
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION……
Together, Please let's pull together as a nation.
I don't think anyone wants to get that call or visit at the door telling you that it's your child next.
Let's not let our voices go unheard.
