On April 12, 2025, LinkedIn removed Winston—our beloved Chief Dog Officer—from the platform, citing a violation for “a pet profile impacting the professional nature of the site.”
We believe this was a mistake.
At Havas, we know that strong company culture starts with connection—and sometimes, that connection has four legs and a tail. Winston isn't just a mascot. He's a culture ambassador, onboarding greeter, creative team co-pilot, and an emotional support presence during late nights and tight deadlines.
His LinkedIn profile was more than a novelty. It celebrated employee milestones, shared company news, and brought measurable engagement to Havas’ social content and employer brand.
Removing Winston didn’t just delete a profile. It erased a symbol of what makes work feel a little more human.
